Short-Term Running Goals:

In the next two years, I hope to qualify for Boston in 3:20 and to be more consistent in training. Since I find once a week interval workouts incredibly difficult, I tend to skip them more in my training then any other run (e.g. long run). I would like to stay more consistent with my workout days. I'd also like to incorporate strenght training conistently throughout 7 day cycle training schedule.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I would like to continue running and racing in marathons until I simply cannot anymore. 50 marathons is my lifetime goal and I'd love to run one in every state!

Personal:

I am married to my wonderful husband and live in Los Angeles. I am a kindergarten teacher, aspiring author, and former personal trainer. I have always loved watching and playing sports, and played volleyball competetively throughout high school. I took up recreational running toward the end of my junior year and slowly began to love it. It wasnt until I met my now husband (former marine corps marathon team) that I began to learn about the world of racing and running "for real." I ran my first marathon at Grandma's Marathon in June 2016 and absolutely loved it. My finish time was projected 3:47, but when I found my husband doubled over with leg cramping at mile 20, I walked/jogged with him to the finish (4:05). I am hoping to qualify for Boston in the Springtime!
